The domain name www.deepam.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Website") is owned by M/s Deepam Silks Retail Private Limited, registered under the Companies Act, 1956, having its registered office at Door No. 404, IV Floor, Barton Centre, M G Road, Bangalore, Karnataka, India - 560001 (hereinafter referred to as "Deepam by Ananta").

Your use of the Website, services, and tools is governed by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Use") as applicable to the Website, including all policies incorporated herein by reference. 2. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, titles, and interests in the names, logos, trademarks, copyrighted material, and designs are owned by and vested with Deepam by Ananta. Nothing contained on the Website shall be construed as granting any license or right to use any Intellectual Property without our prior express written consent.

All communication with us is electronic. When you visit the Website or send us emails, you consent to receive electronic communications from us via emails, notices, or disclosures on the Website. You agree that all electronic notices and disclosures satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

  • Discrepancies: In the event a product offered is not as described, the final decision lies with us. We reserve the right to cancel orders placed for such products prior to dispatch.

  • Promotional Offers: Promotions cannot be combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated.

5. Purchases, Payments, and Shipping

  • Payment Methods: We accept Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking, and Cash on Delivery (COD for select locations/products).

  • Pricing & Taxes: Applicable taxes will be added at checkout. All payments must be made in INR.

  • Shipping & Return Charges: Products once shipped cannot be returned except under specific policy conditions. If returned outside valid circumstances, shipping charges and import duties will be borne by the customer.

  • Order Restrictions: Deepam by Ananta reserves the right to refuse or limit order quantities per person, household, or order, particularly if placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

6. User Conduct & Restricted Activities

Users shall not post, upload, or transmit any material on the Website that:

  1. Is grossly harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, libelous, or invades another's privacy.

  2. Encourages money laundering, gambling, or unlawful acts.

  3. Violates the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986.

Deepam by Ananta reserves the right to immediately terminate or restrict access for users who engage in any prohibited conduct.

7. Product Reviews & Ratings Guidelines

When leaving reviews or ratings, you must adhere to the following criteria:

  • Reviews must be based on first-hand experience.

  • No profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language based on religion, race, gender, age, or disability.

  • No false, misleading statements, or references to illegal activities.

  • Competitors are prohibited from posting negative reviews.

We reserve the right to accept, reject, or remove reviews at our sole discretion.

8. Indemnification

You agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Deepam by Ananta, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from all third-party liabilities, claims, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of this Agreement.

  • Your use of the Website or Products.

  • Your violation of any applicable laws or rights of a third party.

9. Availability of Service & Force Majeure

We endeavor to keep the Website operational at all times, except during scheduled maintenance. However, we are not liable for service interruptions caused by a Force Majeure event, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, terrorist threats, power failures, network disruptions, natural disasters, or regulatory restrictions.

10. Third-Party Websites and Content

The Site may contain links to external third-party websites or content. Deepam by Ananta does not monitor, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party websites or materials. Accessing third-party sites is done entirely at your own risk.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • Disclaimer: The Website and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without express or implied warranties. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses.

  • Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Deepam by Ananta, its directors, or employees be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits or loss of data) arising from your use of the Website.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right, without notice or liability, to deny access to or terminate the account of any person for any reason, including breach of these Terms of Use or applicable law. Suspended users are strictly prohibited from creating new accounts under false names or proxy accounts.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

14. Entire Agreement & Severability

This document constitutes the entire agreement between you and Deepam by Ananta regarding the Website. The failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver. If any provision is deemed invalid by a court, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
